Shihan Jennifer Fremon

As the current highest ranking woman in Kenshikai Karate, Shihan Jennifer has taught martial arts to both adults and children for many years. She is in charge of creating all the children's programs at UWS Kenshikai Karate and BJJ. Before being a full time instructor, Jennifer was a NYS certified preschool teacher. She has a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College. Jennifer trained and competed in gymnastics through childhood and into her teenage years. She is also a writer of both poetry and short stories, and once had her poems published in the Journal of Asian Martial Arts.

Ivry is a senior at Bronx Science with plans to study engineering, He has been training BJJ for 6 years. His hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, and canoeing.

Jessica is a homeschooling mom, with a B.A. in community and human services. She has 4+ years experience working with teens and kids with various special needs, and has had prior experience assisting in teaching children martial arts.
